Thoughtfully organised

Lightly padded sides and a water-resistant base give the bag enough structure to stand upright. Inside, everything has its place: a padded 14-inch laptop compartment, slip pocket, separate zipped pocket for valuables and a key clip.

In hand or over your shoulder

The two-part carry system gives you plenty of flexibility. Use the separate cork handles to carry it by hand, or adjust the straps to wear it comfortably over your shoulder.

Hands-free when you need it

Extend the back strap to wear DEERN as a crossbody or backpack. Sewn-in loops keep both straps automatically at the same length.

When you don't need the straps, they tuck neatly into the deep front compartment with magnetic closure. Your phone, tickets and other small essentials stay close at hand here and in the zipped pocket just in front.

    1. How can I carry DEERN?

    DEERN gives you four ways to carry. Use the short cork handles to carry it by hand, wear the adjustable straps over your shoulder as a tote, switch to backpack mode or wear it crossbody.

    For crossbody mode, simply extend the back strap to your preferred length while the front strap sits neatly against the bag.

    2. What size laptop fits inside?

    The padded laptop compartment fits devices up to 14 inches, including a 14-inch MacBook Pro or iPad Pro, and adds extra protection from everyday knocks and bumps.

    3. Do the backpack straps stay in place?

    Yes. In backpack mode, sewn-in loops automatically keep both straps at the same length. No slipping, no need to readjust.

    4. Does DEERN hold its shape, and is it waterproof?

    Light padding around the bag and a reinforced base give DEERN enough structure to stand upright and hold its shape.

    The cotton canvas is water-resistant, while a waterproof layer within the base adds protection on wet surfaces. For extra protection in wet weather, the canvas can also be treated with a suitable waterproofing spray.

    5. How much weight can DEERN carry?

    DEERN is designed to carry up to 8 kg – plenty for your laptop, water bottle, tech, everyday essentials and a little extra.

    6. How do I care for the canvas and natural cork?

    Wipe away light marks with a damp cloth and mild detergent. DEERN should not be machine washed.

    Natural cork is naturally dirt-resistant and easy to care for. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is usually all it needs.

    7. Can I use DEERN as a baby or changing bag?

    Absolutely. At just 700 g, DEERN is light to carry, easy to organise and switches quickly into a backpack when you need both hands free – especially useful when you're out with a baby or child.

    8. How does the main compartment close?

    A YKK® nylon zip closes the main compartment fully, keeping everything securely inside while you're on the move.
