Animal-free production is important to us. We do not want to contribute to animal suffering and the associated impact on our planet just to create beautiful fashion. Therefore, our bags and accessories are made from animal-free alternatives such as cotton (canvas) and leather-like materials made from sustainable cork, paper latex, and premium microfiber. When selecting materials, we ensure they serve their purpose by being comfortable, durable, and better for our environment.
At KURATIST, we believe in making a difference in people's lives, such as providing fair and stable employment. When we had the opportunity in 2018 to source our products from responsible manufacturers in Thailand, we seized it immediately. Since then, we have been working with two family-owned businesses in production, which provide their employees with a secure workplace, fair wages, and a great deal of respect. With your purchase, you are helping to sustain fair job opportunities.

Unfortunately, we do not currently offer shipping to Switzerland.
Shipping is fulfilled from our warehouse located in Germany, through our partnership with Amazon. This ensures fast delivery, customer-oriented service, and easy returns processing.
We offer reliable and fast standard shipping. Orders with standard shipping are shipped through Deutsche Post DHL, DHL Express, Hermes, UPS, or Swiship. Once your order has left our warehouse, you will receive a tracking email and SMS notification (optional).

30-Day Return Policy
We sincerely hope that you are satisfied with your purchase. However, if you still wish to return your item, you can send it back to our Germany warehouse within 30 days.
Please note that items can only be returned with a return label.
Use our returns form to initiate a return.
- The item should be unused, in its original packaging, and with the barcode intact when returning it.
- Once our warehouse receives and verifies the merchandise, the item will be added back to our inventory.
- We can then proceed with the refund. Please note that this process may take approximately 14 days.
- The cost of return shipping will not be covered by Kuratist.
How do I return an item?

Is the return shipping free of charge?
The return shipping is paid by the customer.
Can I exchange my order?
Unfortunately, exchanging your products is not possible. However, you have the option to return your order to us within 30 days of receiving it. We will then refund your money, and you can place a new order for your desired product.
With PayPal, you can pay with the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. If you have a PayPal account, you can also pay with your PayPal balance.
To use PayPal, you need to have a PayPal account where you can store your bank or credit card details, as well as your address information. This way, you don't have to enter them again for each online purchase. If you choose PayPal as your payment method, you will be redirected to the PayPal payment processing page, where you log in with your email address and PayPal password. Your PayPal account will be charged with the corresponding amount, and you will receive a transaction confirmation via email. Afterwards, you will be directed back to the order confirmation page of our online shop, and you will receive your personal order confirmation from us via email.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS WITH VISA, MAESTRO, MASTERCARD, OR AMERICAN EXPRESS
In our online shop, you can pay with Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, or American Express.
The required information includes the credit card number, the cardholder's name, and the expiration date of the card. Additionally, we need the 3-digit card verification number, which is located on the back of your credit card. AMEX has a 4-digit verification number on the front.
The shipping and billing information is securely stored on Shopify's PCI servers. Data is processed only upon successful purchase. How does Shopify Pay work, and how secure is the payment? →
Sofort - It can't get more convenient. Sofort is a direct and secure payment method via bank transfer for online shopping. When you select Sofort as your payment method, a window with a secure SSL certificate for data transfer will open, where you enter the requested bank details. This is to establish a connection between Sofort and your bank. The familiar online banking mask will appear. Log in as usual and complete the transfer as usual, confirming the transaction with the TAN. Once this is done, you will receive a payment confirmation via email.

With Apple Pay, you can easily and securely pay in our online shop. Apple Pay allows you to check out in our online shop using Safari on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. When you pay for your orders through Apple Pay, you don't have to manually enter your credit card information or shipping address. Simply tap the Apple Pay button and scan your fingerprint. Apple Pay will then provide the relevant information to our secure payment provider, Shopify Payments.
